Our very own Rafe Totengco was the recipient of the 2008 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award last week. Established by the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) in 2001, the Outstanding 50 Award is the first and largest business award program for the Asian American community in the nation. The award honors the success of Asian Americans in business and recognizes those who demonstrate innovation, leadership and vision. As President of the Rafe brand, Totengco was honored as an influential Asian American entrepreneur who has achieved extraordinary accomplishments in his field. “I’m so proud to receive this prestigious award,” says Totengco. “It feels great to be acknowledged in the Asian American community and especially as the sole recipient in the fashion industry."
